Finding the balance...

I'm wondering how all the girls out there do it. I really and truly enjoy my time on cam, but I'm missing out on sleep.

Of course, being a single mom presents all sorts of difficulties for me. Obviously, I can't cam during the day...shitty. So evening hours are it for me. And often, I get online at 10 or 11pm and stay on until 1 or 2am...only to go to sleep and wake up at 6am to start my day with getting one of my kids ready for school. I normally crash at about 10am and take a snooze on the couch while my youngest child is watching Spongebob or some other inane cartoon (this is a great way to tune out obnoxious things, although I think Spongebob is starting to haunt my dreams).

I think I definitely need to put my youngest in daycare for at least a few days a week so I can have some time to cam during the day. Otherwise, I'll continue going on 4 or less hours of sleep a night, and that will get old quick. I'm guessing that it's all about finding the balance that works for me. I suppose that 3 weeks isn't really enough time to really find that balance, so I'm just going to continue trying.

September is going to be a good month for me. Rather, I'm going to do my best to make sure it's a good month for me!!! I'm going to be adding lots of new things to my profile, and working a more regular schedule, with hopefully more hours. I am determined to get this damned camscore up above 1000 again!

Last night was a decent night considering that mother nature decided to fuck up the end of the pay period for me. It's funny to me that some nights I can come on cam with a plan and a goal to reach, and not come anywhere NEAR that, but then on nights like last night where I had no agenda and just came to hang out, I pulled in a fair amount. Go figure.

I still have yet to have my first $100 night. When that happens, I will be celebrating...and I think that if I can get there, I'll know that I've found my groove (so to speak). Fingers crossed! And a big thank you to everyone who supported me last night...it was so much fun!

Hi, I'm Katie and I'm a camwhore...

This is where everyone in the room says, "Hi Katie." Anyway, this serves as my little introduction to you all. This entry is going to be the who,what, where, when, and why...and maybe even how, if you're lucky.

Who: Katie. Haven't we covered this already?

What: I'm a 27 year old single mom, and a budding camwhore.

When: I started camming about 3 weeks ago. I've never done anything like this before, so I have a lot to learn, and the learning curve is very steep.

Why: Why did I become a camwhore? Because I wanted to? The appeal of doing something like this was vast. I tend to be more reserved in my real life, even though I don't always feel like being reserved. Camming allows me to be me in all capacities!

The ability to work from home has huge appeal to me. This job allows me to be a mom and college student during the day without paying for daycare full time.

So, this is me. I hope to post the funny/frustrating/confusing/entertaining/all of the above things that I encounter as I learn more about what it is to be a camwhore.
